Let me first begin by saying hi. Happy New Year.
It’s been a minute. Or 306,600 minutes if you’re really counting.
Early last year, I took an in-house role as Head of Marketing for the best-selling self-help author Mark Manson. It’s been quite an adjustment from a lifetime as a freewheeling creative entrepreneur. It’s also been a welcome change, a fun growth opportunity, and most importantly (to me) a chance to work with the coolest team ever.
Actually, when Mark asked me what I most wanted—after I told him I was tired of being the face of my own brand but was still wildly excited about marketing and business and personal growth, I said—
”Honestly, I just want to be part of a team.”
Lo and behold, I am now part of an incredible team, under the benevolent leadership of another freewheeling creative, (BLESS), and not only that, but our team is growing!
Which is one of the reasons I’m writing this today.
I’m wondering if you might be the extra special unicorn we’re looking for (or, if not you, maybe you know someone who is)?
This magical unicorn role I speak of is a Course Development & Community Manager.
We’re looking for someone who can take Mark’s exceptionally researched content and turn it into actionable, results-getting courses AND love up on our online community so it’s engaged, dynamic, and a place where our audience wants to hang out.
The full details and application can be found here.
Note that applications close on January 12th at 11:59pm PST.
Funny story…
When I saw the role description for my current job I laughed and said to myself: “that’s MY job.” Overconfident? Maybe. But I wasn’t wrong because here we are.
My point is: if that’s how you feel when you read this, PLEASE APPLY.
If you get to the bottom of this job posting and feel like it was written just for YOU, it was. We need your energy and expertise, bb.
xo

p.s. This newsletter about amazing teams would not be complete without a shout-out to Val Thinks, the lovely newsletter and website manager I have the great pleasure of working with now. She also promptly sends her Substack every week, unlike my sporadic ass.
